Say to yourself, “Today I will be kind to myself. Today I acknowledge my humanity, my body’s needs, my deep desire to love and to be loved. Today I will start by loving and honouring my body, by acknowledging its miraculous inner workings its resilience, its physical possibilities and limitations, and its beauty and perfection.”

Remember, no matter what you have put your body through you can always begin again, in every moment. Even if you stray from the healing part, you can still begin again and ask for forgiveness of your body – it will always offer it to you – you have only to ask… Continue inwardly repeating, “Dear body, please know that I love you, please know that though I have made unwise choices in the past that may have put you in danger or jeopardy – or worse, threatened your existence, I am deeply, deeply sorry. If I did it was not through a direct desire to cause you harm or suffering- rather it was from a place of desperation, of anxiety and of pain that I made the indirect decisions to abuse you. Please know that I seek total release from my addictive tendencies and release from the cycle of pain they propagate so that I may never again harm you intentionally or in-intentionally. You are precious tome and integral to my existence. I love you and I humbly ask that you support me in our co-joined journey back to health, Thank you, thank you, thank you……Please help me feel connected to you completely as we are one. Help me feel connected to loved ones and fellow travelers on the road to wellness and freedom. Help me accept a at times I will feel disconnected from you and from myself, that at times I will be angry or frustrated while I am adapting to new, healthier behaviours, and that I may even falter and cause you further pain and suffering. Please help me stay the course and once again return to my original state of total wellness and harmony with all that is………so that I may continue to live a healthy, balanced, enriched and inspired life and make positive contributions to our world – that I may begin to cultivate a world of “we” where we support and not condemn one another, where we listen an h=not just hear one another, and no longer discriminate against one another for any perceived frailty. And where my choice to change makes a difference to all those who choose to change for the better because I have become the change that I want to see in the world”…
