Today’s Thought for the NOW and HEALING and LIFE BALANCING Guided Meditation

Much of what makes us feel unwell (dis-ease) has its roots much deeper in our histories than we realize. It is mostly a result of past negative experiences or “traumas” that exist in the body as negative energy. That negative energy stays with us, unresolved, and wreaks havoc on our physical and emotional bodies. Healing or neutralizing those negative events energetically is key to reversing their detrimental effects on the body so we can achieve optimum health.

Most people aren’t aware of the fact that there are 23 forms of clinically diagnosed trauma (negative experiences), as well as hundreds of life-threatening illnesses, which in and of themselves, are traumatic.

These 23 different forms of trauma include: Physical abuse or assault, child or adult neglect, bullying: victim or bully, forced displacement, traumatic grief/separation, adult sexual abuse or assault, child sexual abuse or assault, victim/witness of domestic violence, victim/witness of school, workplace, community violence, victim/witness of prejudice/racism, war/terrorism, political violence, system-induced trauma, victim/witness of a fatal or near-fatal accident, life-threatening or chronic illness, invasive medical procedure, personal/inter-personal violence, vicarious trauma, child abuse or mistreatment, historical or generational trauma, man-made disaster victim/witness, natural disaster victim/witness and 3 that I have added are social media trauma, victim/witness of a global pandemic, forced impoverishment due to unforeseen circumstances.

Then there are relationship-generated emotional traumas like break-ups, betrayals, being lied to, being manipulated, being the victim of a sociopathic relationship, being stolen from within a committed relationship, being cheated on from within a committed relationship, etc. These too can be equally devastating to one’s life, their physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual bodies.

This 27 Minute Healing and Life Balancing Guided Meditation will help you heal or neutralize the energy of any given negative experience from your body in an extremely powerful, loving, nurturing and safe way. If you would like to clear more than one trauma or negative event, it is best to focus on one instance at a time when working with this Guided Meditation. So, without further ado, here are the steps to the BREATH and MOVEMENT MEDITATION by the very brilliant and dedicated Paul Hyman, Brain Plasticity and Trager Method Guru:

Breath and Movement Meditation

T Position:

Lie on your back, arms out to your side in the shape of the letter “T”. Feet are flat on the floor, knees are bent, ankles together, knees together.

Movement Pattern:

One palm is up and one palm is down.

Find the side that hand is “palm and thumb down” and turn your legs to that side. Your head is turned and you’re looking at your “upturned, thumb-up” hand.

Breathing Cycle with Movement:

Your movements are timed based on the full cycle of your IN and OUT breath. The full breath cycle is started when your head and knees are in alignment.

  1. Arms are out to your side – letter T – palms down.
  2. Take an IN Breath as you drop your legs over to one side. At the same time, begin turning the opposite hand upwards as you turn your head in the same direction.
  3. As you begin your Out Breath you move in the reverse direction until your head and knees are in alignment again at the midline.
  4. Begin the next breath cycle as your legs drop to the opposite side with your arms moving and your head and eyes looking at the upturned hand. Breathe In as you drop your legs to the side and Breathe OUT as your legs return to centre. Whatever side is “palm down”, your knees are dropped to that side as your head turns in the opposite direction to your knees as you look at your up-turned hand.

Wait till you try it… It’s AMAZING! I recommend doing this meditation technique prior to doing the following HEALING and LIFE BALANCING Guided Meditation.

I have been taking 10 thousand iu, most days, based on literally 90 years of research and clinical documented
experience.

Today for the first time this year, I was tanning on my balcony for 2 hours which would have likely
produced around 10 thousand iu minimum, since it was around 1pm, peak sun time.

It was marvellous to finally have a rare free lunchtime at home when the sun was out and the temps were good. I have written about the sun and D before, but the sun does a lot more for us than help convert cholesterol under our skin into vitamin D.

The sun’s rays activate our pineal gland, and have research proven effects on testosterone
production in men as well as activating inositol into more bio active inositol triphosphate. Soak it up and leave
behind the chemical sunscreens.

If you must use a sun screen, hit up a health store and get the most natural
one possible (I recommend Green Beaver for sun sensitive peeps).”

This Guided Meditation is a spoken version of the Lord’s Prayer in the original Aramaic language as it would have been communicated to us by Yeshua, Himself, during his lifetime on Earth, which was (surprise, surprise!) actually around 1200 AD, I understand. Here are some facts for you when it comes to understanding the nature of “thoughts” and the human condition:

The average cognitive mind produces between 60,000 and 70,000 thoughts per day. At 60,000 thoughts per day, if you take away 8 hours for sleep (during which time the mind is busy processing complex stimuli, then using that information to make decisions during the day), that comes out to 3,750 thoughts per hour, 62.5 thoughts per minute, and roughly 1 thought per second.

80% of those thoughts tend to be negative and 95% repetitive.

If we continue to repeat negative thoughts, we end up thinking way more negative thoughts than positive ones, and basically adopt a negative mindset. It’s no surprise the cognitive mind has come to be known as “monkey mind” in meditation circles, due to its incessant thought creation or “brain chatter”, and it’s exactly this brain chatter that prevents us from accessing our “higher mind” or higher intuitive functions, while keeping us perpetually looped into a negative mindset.

So how does one actually rise above the mind chatter if not a seasoned meditator? That’s easy… Like I already said, just start with this Guided Meditation! It will keep your mind chatter at bay as you focus on the POSITIVE thought process the Guided Meditation is taking you through.

If you should start noticing your own thoughts coming up, just allow them to float by… like clouds in the sky… and return to the sound of the Guided Meditation.
