PROJECT RESPITE: Creating Inner (and Outer) Peace in a Less Than Peaceful World

There is a reason why it’s called “inner peace”; The peace you are looking for is inside you.

In fact, everything you are looking for is inside you. All you have to do is connect with it internally to create it externally.

Let’s explore that on a simplistic level as this is truly a complex and multifold topic and merits it’s own blog post.

For now, simply speaking…

What do you want? Well, right now, I think we all want to be at peace in a peaceful world. Agreed? I sure hope so.

Like I said, the peace you are looking for is within you – and that is true of everyone.

When we find our inner peace, we become peaceful; we attract more peaceful things and experiences into our lives.

Raise your frequency through meditation, get acquainted with your higher self, and your higher self will be attracted to – and attract – higher frequency people, occurrences and experiences to you.

This = more peace, within and without.

Drop your frequency by allowing yourself to react by becoming angry, agitated, irritated, frightened or negative, and you will attract people, occurrences, experiences that are vibrating on the same lower frequency.

This will cause you to experience conflict, struggle, drama, discomfort, disharmony, and physical, emotional and intellectual pain and suffering.

This most likely leading to disease (or “dis-ease”) and even an earlier than desired demise as the body cannot sustain a constant negative state without responding in some detrimental physical, emotional, intellectual or even spiritual manner.

This = 0 inner peace.

Bottom line: In terms of energy, like attracts like.

In this less than peaceful world we are currently residing in, how do we “rise above” the lower frequencies that surround us?

The frequencies that are perpetually trying to affect us in negative ways, including inciting fear, exposing us to scenes of violence on multiple screens (mobile, computer and television), and seeding and perpetuating the idea that we are helpless in the face of global challenges?

I am in no way negating the fact that the “old world” as we knew it is gone, never to be again. And there is a huge “take down” of things that are no longer working, that we know, collectively, haven’t been working for a very, very long time.

I am also not saying that we shouldn’t stay informed, though I do highly suggest sticking to reliable sources for your information such as citizen journalists or community leaders – or individuals within them – who have long-standing, solid records of purveying and advocating for the truth.

That said, even among those there are some whose agendas are not for the greater good.

What I am saying is, number one, that it’s time now, in fact it’s an absolute necessity if you are to navigate the waters right now and not drown in a sea of negativity and fear, to apply critical thinking, take absolutely everything you see and hear with a grain of salt, neither accept nor reject ANYTHING and draw your own conclusions based on your own in-depth research.

Number two, it’s time now to go INSIDE and find your own truth. You will know INSTANTLY – your gut reaction will tell you – whether or not you resonate with something and whether or not it’s true for you.

And that’s how you will find your inner peace, and as a result, contribute to the creation of a peaceful world for us all to live in.

How do we go inside effectively to do that?

MEDITATE, MEDITATE, MEDITATE.

The more you refine your internal connection and communication with your higher self, the more your outer connection and communication with everyone and everything around you will become refined, lifted , enhanced and enlightened.

It’s that simple.

So it’s not PROJECT (as in the noun) RESPITE, it’s actually PROJÈCT (as in the verb) RESPITE.

When you “project” your inner state, it will manifest as your outer state and attract the like, as already discussed.

It does not matter whether you use a Guided Meditation or not to get you to the state of inner peace and bliss or not; just that you get there.

And the more you practice, the easier it will be to return there when you see something – or experience something or someone – that shakes you up.

A simple tool when you do get shaken up by something you read, hear or see, or an unpleasant encounter with someone who is acting out negatively, is to breathe deeply and simply say to yourself inwardly, “I AM LIGHT, I AM LOVE, I AM INFINITE AWARENESS, I AM.”

And just keep repeating that until you feel yourself returning back to centre; back to the REAL you that IS light, love and infinite awareness – having a physical experience in 3rd, moving to 4th density.

It is also EXTREMELY beneficial to ground yourself in Mother Nature. Just going for a walk, connecting your feet with some grass or sand, feeling the sunlight on your back or immersing your body into a lake or an ocean is akin to meditation and will yield incredible results. (That is why I have chosen to make the bulk of my images here that of Mother Nature.)

A Little 247 Year Old Gift from Pluto

It is indeed now time to cultivate our inner steadfastness, build emotional resilience and contemplate how we may “serve” the collective consciousness in order to rise above the detritus of the immense change that is upon us.

We are already experiencing the mighty effects of Pluto’s Return, astrologically speaking, which will be completed in February 2020, coinciding with the establishment of the United States of America on July 4th, 1776.

This return happens once every 247 years, bringing with it the uprooting and exposure of all the muck, mire, corruption and downright evil on the planet.

In other words, Pluto is here to CLEAN HOUSE. Big time.

According to astrologer, Michael Meade, “The best thing we can do right now is gear up for the long haul. Stamina.

You’ve most likely heard of a Saturn return? This is when Saturn returns to where it is in your natal birth chart, approximately every 27 years. Do you remember your life during the ages of 27-30? It is not an easy bridge to cross, and maybe you’re living it now or have already weathered through it.

A Saturn return brings with it a sobering process of aligning to your truth, revelation of dharma, and paying elements of karma along the way. Now let’s take this to the nth degree. Meet the Pluto Return. Approximately every 247 years, this annihilator of the false completes a cycle around the sun, returning to where it met a particular birth of an event of sorts.

A Pluto return is the beginning of a thorough acclimatization throughout the institutions of our nation, and thus will greatly impact the global society. Catapulted by the electrical force of Uranus in Taurus, expect upheaval as a steady roar within the arenas of government, environment, finances, agriculture, health, education, etc. This will take time. Everyone has heard the phrase, “We are all one.”

Most recently, “Where we go one we go all” has become the catchphrase of a particular movement that’s happening now in the US, whose goal is to expose truths that have been carefully and deliberately hidden from the collective consciousness in an attempt to control, manipulate and use said consciousness – and all it’s inhabitants – as fuel for long-standing, hidden agendas of what we once referred to as the “elites”.

Politics aside, if we are truly “one”, wouldn’t the “one” like to know the truth of its self, including the shadow side?

Of course it would. That’s the whole purpose of life; or at least part of the process of living and growing as a human being.

As Bashar (as channeled by Darryl Anka) says, succinctly and profoundly,

“The purpose of life is to be lived. It’s fun, it’s exciting. It’s a growth experience. It’s a master class in transforming limitation into freedom.”

And we cannot have growth or expansion, leading to the transformation of limitations into freedom (not to mention the fun and excitement) without the TRUTH.

As an aside, Bashar goes on to say, most brilliantly,

“You are all different ways that creation has of experiencing itself. So the idea of your purpose and your mission is really just to be who you are as best as you can be…

How you do it is simply your own expression of the mission, but you all have the same purpose, you all have the same mission – to be who you actually are… You are all eternal spirits. If you exist now in some form, you always will.”

We are all one.

I believe we all agree on that to varying degrees.

We are one individual – in one community – in one country – in one continent – in one planet – in one galaxy – in one universe – in one CONSCIOUSNESS.

Of course, we are all separate expressions of that one consciousness that shows up in different universes, galaxies, planets, continents, countries, communities and INDIVIDUALS.

But do we really understand to what extent we are “one”? Where does your understanding of that stop at?

There are many who are still in the dream of “the illusion of separation” and see themselves as nothing more than an individuated entity living in a dualistic, “me v.s. them” world.

This is a difficult existence and there is little consciousness operating within this entity as it is still in the shackles of full-on ego. It is forced to bump up against all the creations of its own shadow side – on its own hero’s journey – to come through to the light of truth. Which is where we all end up – eventually. Guaranteed. One way or another...

Some call this the “dream” of separation. I prefer the word “nightmare” having reached the “other side”. The hindsight is indescribable.

There are no words to explain the denseness, the isolation, the negative states of being, and the pain and suffering that is the condition of separation from creation; the separation from the “one”, in all its aspects.

Some have moved beyond that awareness into connectivity with community and country, adopting the identity of a nationality or ethnicity; let’s call it an “exclusive (as opposed to “inclusive”) collective consciousness”. This has it’s advantages, as this type of collective is generally trying to pull itself up the consciousness ladder, building better and better communities – despite sometimes extremely difficult obstacles and challenges.

Some have moved beyond that consciousness and see themselves as citizens of planet Earth. This is a great step forward, as it undoubtedly will lead to the understanding and full awareness of other planets, galaxies and universes.

It is at this juncture, where I understand (from many unbiased citizen observers and researchers, who have no agenda other than exposing the truth, and NOT mainstream media) that we find ourselves now.

And that we have reached critical mass in this giant step in evolution and shall now be venturing forward as one collective consciousness to discover our “oneness” in the galaxy, other galaxies and billions of universes and the nature of our interconnectivity beyond time/space.

ONENESS, or “Unity Consciousness”

You have access to all knowledge, known and unknown; you have access to an infinite power for which nothing is impossible; you have access to the limitless creativity of the One Creator. All these attributes are present within you at all times in their potential form.

It is up to you to know and act upon your own nature. The inscription on the Ancient Greek Temple of Apollo at Delphi left no room for misunderstanding:

‘Know thyself and thou shalt know all the mysteries of the gods and the universe’.

It is through the power of your subconscious mind and your higher self that you can learn to align yourself with the Omnipotence, Omniscience and Omnificence of the Universal Mind at all times.

In a nutshell, there is a single Consciousness, the Universal Mind, which pervades the entire Universe. It is all knowing, all powerful, all creative and always present everywhere at the same time. Your consciousness is part of it – it is It. All is One. You are connected to everything and every one. You are already connected what you want.

To the degree that you truly comprehend and internalize this Truth, you will be able to become the master of your mind and the director of your life.”

The Law of One; The Ra Material and The One Infinite Creator

The Law of One is a Sacred Science of the mechanics of Christ Consciousness and are the Natural Laws governing our Universal Creation. All-One is the recognition that Eternal Truth is Eternal Love and Eternal Love is the organic consciousness of Infinite Creator or God.

The Law of One; The Ra Material is also a series of 106 conversations, called sessions, between Don Elkins, a professor of physics and UFO investigator, and Ra, speaking through Carla Rueckert. Ra states that it/they are a sixth-density social memory complex that formed on Venus about 2.6 billion years ago.

The Law of One; The Ra Material states that

“there is only one, and that one is the Infinite Creator, which Ra also calls “Infinite Intelligence” and “Intelligent Infinity.” It is impossible to describe the “one undifferentiated intelligent infinity, unpolarized, full and whole” but It can be activated or potentiated. Each portion of the creation contains, paradoxically, the whole.

Since all is one, all manifestation, or appearance of many-ness, is an illusion. According to Ra, it is an illusion carefully engineered in order to give the Creator the opportunity to know Itself.”

Fair warning: this is not an expose to be undertaken without resilience, perseverance and most importantly, the desire to understand its depth, breadth and other-worldly understanding as communicated to us in 3D, in the early 80’s to late 90’s, no less, when most of humanity was fully asleep in the “dream”, rather, “nightmare” of separation.

It would take lifetimes – and many of them at that – to fully comprehend the wisdom of The Law of One; The Ra Material, as it will take us many, many lifetimes to fully grasp, let alone, comprehend, the multifaceted and multidimensional and timeless concept of the “one”.

There is nothing you can’t discover by going within. That pathway is always open to you, waiting for you to uncover the treasures it holds for you.

Further exploration of the concept on unity consciousness can be done very easily by experiencing it directly. This can happen spontaneously through meditation as it has for countless individuals over the eons that have opened themselves up to the collective consciousness with the awareness of their place in it as an aspect of the whole.

The FREQUENCY Solution: MANIFESTATION and Meditation HACKS for Getting in DEEP

There is a basic law in physics that states that everything in the Universe moves and vibrates. Absolutely nothing rests, including you and me.

As humans, our frequencies are quite different from that of the objects surrounding us like furniture, trees, animals, objects, and other people, which is why we are all under the spell or “illusion” of “separation”.

That we are separate from all and everything could be no further from the truth. The fact is, we live in a veritable ocean of energy, known to physicists as “The Unified Field”.

Furthermore, Quantum Physics shows us that everything in our universe is energy – and not matter – on a subatomic level.

Some, like the great turn-of-the-century influencer, Wallace D. Wattles, knew this intuitively:

“Everything you see on earth is made from one original substance, out of which all things proceed… There is a thinking stuff from which all things are made, and which, in its original state, permeates, penetrates, and fills the interspaces of the universe. A thought, in this substance, produces the thing that is imaged by thought. Man can form things in his thought, and, by impressing his thought upon formless substance, can cause the thing he thinks about to be created.”

Now that we have established that we are energy in motion or “e-motional beings”, what is the next step towards wielding that energy to create highest and best outcomes or to allow that which no longer serves us to be transmuted into a higher frequency, into that which does serve us?

In this instance, I’m referring to what seems to be on everyone’s mind these days, given the global unrest: Where did this “unrest” come from and how are we going to get ourselves beyond it and thrive once again?

First of all, the unrest came about as a result of the fragmented and negatively oriented environment we have evolved through over millenia. The good news is, what we are seeing now is its dissolution – and transmutation on many levels.

How to illustrate this...

Let’s say we have collectively decided that our kitchen has fallen into decrepitude and has become dysfunctional, and no longer serves us. What is required is ripping that kitchen apart, down to the very floorboards, and replacing it with a whole new kitchen with much improved functionalities that will once again, serve all those who depend on it to live and thrive. This is much like what we are going through on a global scale.

That means we are literally going through a deconstruction; debris, dust, noise, mess, discomfort, inconvenience, lack and even trepidation as to whether or not this was a good idea to begin with or not – and whether what the old will be replaced with will be worth the effort.

And here we are. We’re in it, full on, and there’s no turning back now. So how do we move forward and create positive outcomes?

Sit’s really quite simple, yet profound. As Bashar says:

“What you put out is exactly what you get back. Physical reality is a mirror; literally, a mirror. Whatever vibration you put out, is the experience you get back… While it is true, whatever your vibration is, is responsible for what you experience, many of you think, or have been taught to think, that you have to work to create that vibration that would create what it is you prefer, and in fact, you do not. Your core frequency, your core true, signature vibration is already attracting all the things that are representative of that core vibration. If those things that are representative of your true, core, loving, creative, natural vibration aren’t manifesting, aren’t reaching you, it’s not because you are not attracting them, it’s because you are keeping them away.”

So it is clear then, that in order to manifest what we desire, we do not have to “work for it”, as Bashar says. As counterintuitive at that may sound given our programming, the essence is this:

Allow that which you are not to fall away, to be once again, that which you are.

And how, pray tell, do we do that? That’s simple too, and profound.

Meditate. Connect with your higher self that is the true, core, loving, creative and natural vibration that you are. Become that once again; radiate that once again from your heart; heal the self; help others heal through raising your vibration and thereby allowing them to raise theirs; and in that way, we all heal and raise the vibration on the planet so we can all really, really get excited about enjoying that new kitchen we’re co-creating once it’s done!

And it’s really the EXCITEMENT that attracts the outcome, not so much the picture, in this instance of a kitchen.

Here’s your magical solution, broken down: 1. Meditate: Connect with your higher self on as deep a level as possible. 2. Get EXCITED about what you want to manifest or attract into your reality. 3. Realize you are not actually attracting “anything” other than the experience you want to have internally (which will affect everything around you positively externally). 4. Forget about it and keep your vibration as high as possible, following your bliss for as long as you can in one direction until you can no longer maintain that, then follow it in another, and so forth. And watch the magic unfold. It has to. These are universal laws of creation.

Getting in DEEP

A single meditator has the potential to positively affect every person they encounter, raising their vibration by just speaking a few words to them, sitting with them, or by just having walked by them on the street.

Humans are the most powerful change agents when we meditate, or direct our attention, towards something.

But are we getting in deep enough into meditation in order to do so?

ALL Meditation is GOOD Meditation

At the end of the day (or the beginning, or whenever you prefer to meditate) ALL meditation is good meditation.

Deep, not so deep, or Guided Meditation. If it wasn’t, I sure wouldn’t be devoting so much of my time to spreading the good word. And “just meditate” is may mantra. That said, I know it’s hard to go deep into meditation, which is where the most transformative and powerful experiences happen.

Some rarely get to experience that deep level of self-awareness and indescribable bliss. (Just keep on meditating if that’s what you want to experience, and trust me, it WILL happen.)

In case you’re struggling with that or want to take your practice to a new level, I’m going to offer you some practical hacks for getting in DEEP. Hacks that I’ve both come across and come up with on my own. Here goes, just for you.

Helpful HACKS for Getting into DEEP Meditation

Body Position

Your body position is KEY. If you can’t get your body comfy and into the right position, you will never be able to move beyond its sensations that will continually call you back to pay attention to them. The following is a combination of things you can do to address this issue.

The Cushion is KING

Of all my meditation seats, the one I have now suits me best. Of course everyone will have their preferences. I’m just telling you what works for me – BIG TIME.

It’s a padded square (from , about 24″ x 24″ and about 8″ deep. It sits up agains a wall. It’s from Morningstar Trading, a store I frequent in Toronto. They do sell online. Here’s a link to the actual cushion I bought:

I sit on that pillow, firmly rooting into my sitting bones.

Then there’s an oblong pillow that I have that I fold in half and place at the base of my spine to make sure my spinal column is slightly curved inward (concave) and erect. (This is critical for the energy flowing up the spine to the higher chakras that are the ones that actually do take you deep into meditation.) Here’s a link to that oblong pillow I bought:

About Legs

Now that’s a personal preference, especially if you’re not built or limber enough to sit cross-legged. Personally, unless I’ve been keeping up with my yoga practice pretty regularly, cross-legged works for me for about 15 minutes, then my right ankle starts screaming at me, and I need to shift.

What really works for me is taking a blanket, draping it over my knees and feet (soles together), and tucking the blanket under my feet so they are comfy and supported. Then I take that blanket and twist the ends and tuck those ends under my knees for some additional support. That takes care of my legs and spinal alignment.

Now it’s chin up, shoulders down and back (release with an in-breath and out-breath).

NOTE: You may have a favorite meditation chair or zafu cushion, or just use a normal chair when you meditate. It doesn’t really matter; it’s whatever works for you as long as you can get into a really comfortable and supported position. And the next step is…

Tuning Out

Now it’s time to tune out.

I do this with a combination of things that I find really help me detach from my outward, physical senses so I can more easily explore my internal senses.

If you are going to use a Guided Meditation, that’s great. If not, and your’e ready to do this all on your own, here’s what works for me:

The drone of the tanpura being played, I find, is the perfect sound companion to meditation. It has been used in the far East for centuries as a way to help meditators (mostly monks and spiritual adepts back then) tune out and tune in, as the repetitive sound of the 4 strings gently plucked one after the other over and over is said to actually align the chakras, making it easier to climb to the highest one during meditation.

I like to listen to it on my phone while I’m meditating, with good, comfortable earphones, in a 1 hour long version.

This hypnotic drone is in the key of a slightly flat version of C, which is actually more soothing than C at 440. (That’s a whole other blog topic that I’ll get to soon.)

Next, I cover my eyes with a headband. If you have a blackout mask, that’s even better. I find my headband works perfectly for me.

Then I cover my head. If it’s not too hot, I find putting my hoodie’s hood over my head a perfect solution. If it’s really warm out, I’ll use a large cotton scarf, like a sarong, and drape it over my head and ears. The main thing is to create a kind of a “meditation cave” for yourself. (There’s a reason monks meditated in caves. Lol.)

Click “play” and let the drone begin…

And now there’s just the diving in part.

Don’t pay attention to all the “zingers” I like to call the tingles I feel when I’m tuning in. They are your energy or vibration at constant play – though when you are moving around, you don’t notice it. Shifting your awareness internally makes one sensitive to them, which is perfectly normal. They mostly subside after a few moments, rather you begin to drift deeper into meditation and focus less and less on them and other bodily sensations.

Now BREATHE…. deep in-breath, deep out-breath, over and over again… until you feel your breath connecting with your inner expansiveness.

At this point, you may begin to see colours swirling; greens, violets, whites; or see the vague outline of shapes, faces – morphing into one another… or you may see tiny lights, or flashes of light… At this point, congratulations… You’re in DEEP. And it’s time to direct your thoughts to a particular intention.

If it’s world peace and unity you’re focusing on, ask for – or create an image in your mind that will allow you to express your intention through love.

When world peace is the object of my intention, I image Earth as a basketball-sized, exquisite floating entity, that I can both fill with and surround with my deep, profound love for it, and enfold it into my heart… and just love it there with all my might, offering it all the healing energy it needs that I pull in from the entire cosmos. Whatever it takes to get the healing done.

At this point, not only is the sky the limit, not even this galaxy is the limit.

Whatever your intention is during your meditation, just allow it to take shape in a way that you can pour love into it… and away you go…

Tuning back in to the outer world.

When it’s time to come out of meditation, you’ll know. It’s indescribable, yet distinct. Sometimes only a 15 or 20 minute meditation is what the body needs. Another time it may be an hour or well beyond that.

Just please always remember to be kind an non-judgemental of yourself in any way when it comes to meditation. You have no idea just how much you are accomplishing on a subatomic level when you raise your vibration, even for a few moments.

If we ALL just did that – even for a few moments – we’d all be opening our eyes to a whole new – and much improved – world.

The Unexpected Gift of Darkness: GODSPEED, George Floyd

“Someone I loved once gave me a box full of darkness. It took me years to understand that this too, was a gift.”

Mary Jane Oliver (1935-2019) was an American poet who won the National Book Award and Pulitzer Prize: a great inspiration to me in my formative years.

She began writing poetry at the age of 14 and was later influenced by both Whitman and Thoreau. Oliver is known for her clear and poignant observances of the natural world.

In fact, it is widely accepted that her poetry reflected a new kind of Romanticism that refused to acknowledge boundaries between nature and the observing self.

Of course, the box of darkness in Mary’s poem could have so very many meanings. The actual full poem is called The Uses of Sorrow, and is as such:

The Uses of Sorrow

(In my dream I dreamed this poem)

Someone I loved once gave me a box full of darkness.

It took me years to understand that this, too, was a gift.

Citing the great illuminist, Carl Gustav Jung (1875-1961), Swiss psychiatrist, influential thinker and the founder of analytical psychology, also known as Jungian psychology, it is clear that he and Mary shared the same view of “darkness”, albeit expressed in two wholly different ways.

“One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious.”

Enter, the Darkness

When we enter into a state of meditation, we literally “go into the darkness” as we close our eyes.

That darkness is always present, yet we do not think of it until we close our eyes, and behold! There it is, just where we left it the last time.

This literal and figurative “darkness”, is, as Mary Oliver would have seen it, a “natural” aspect of the “self” and therefore of “nature”, intrinsic to our makeup as human beings.

What comes up for us in this meditative darkness can be anywhere on the scale; from utter bliss to the deepest sorrow, sadness, grief, loss or sense of betrayal still living in the heart.

Even if it is not in our consciousness, even if it is part of the collective consciousness, the meditation experience will often draw out challenging feelings.

This, so we may purge them – on behalf of ourselves or the collective – once and for all, and return to our more natural state of equanimity, peace, and ultimately bliss, which is (for most) our natural propensity – to go towards the light.

And the more we go into this meditative state and allow these deep-seated feelings to rise up in us, and ride the waves of their last stand, one after the other, so we are then able to begin to observe ourselves more and more deeply, reaching truly profound levels of awareness and “being”.

And then it becomes transcendent...

Beyond the Darkness

Beyond the darkness that rests behind our eyes, is a very different kind of darkness that we have all had to face in our lives, and indeed, are facing now on a global scale.

I came across this post in my Instagram feed just a few days before the heinous, brutal and deliberate public murder of US citizen, George Floyd, on May 25th in Minneapolis, Minnesota, by four police officers.

I was going to mention it in this Blog for very different reasons.

Suffice it to say, it gave me some hope for humanity to see that meditation programs are slowly being implemented in all facets of society, as the direct evidence, that has now become indisputable science, proves that mass meditation affects us globally – and as little as 7,000 people meditating on reducing crime, actually works. You can look up the staggering statistics yourself.

I will of course, speak more on this, but for now, I digress.

The ensuing and ongoing rightful public outcry after the George Floyd murder is deafening, not just on the outside, in the form of peaceful public protests.

It is also deafening on the inside, emotionally, spiritually, as these are dark days indeed, as we attempt to process the unthinkable – yet the undeniable.

We have indeed been handed “a box of darkness”.

Emperor, Stoic Philosopher, Marcus Aurelius Antonius Augustus; 121 – 180

Marcus Aurelius Antoninus Augustus; 26 April 121 – 17 March 180) was a Roman Emperor from 161 to 180 and a Stoic philosopher.

He was the last of the rulers known as the Five Good Emperors (a term coined some 13 centuries later by Niccolo Machiavelli), and the last emperor of the Pax Romana, an age of relative peace and stability for the Roman Empire.

The reign of Marcus Aurelius was marked by military conflict, though in the end, the Roman Empire fought successfully and ushered in an era of unprecedented peace.

Also during Aurelius’ reign, The Antonine Plague broke out in 165 or 166 and devastated the population of the Roman Empire and causing the the deaths of five million people.

Meditations, by Marcus Aurelius, or the writings of “the philosopher”, as contemporary biographers called Marcus, are a significant source of the modern understanding of ancient Stoic philosophy. They have been praised by fellow writers, philosophers, monarchs, and politicians centuries after his death.

“…be not like your enemy.”

Let us hope, pray, if you are the praying kind, that humanity heeds these words from an ancient wise one, and that the darkness we are all feeling from within – and without – will soon be purged, both through the practice of going within and allowing them to seep through our tears, as we usher them into oblivion – and through our PEACEFUL protests, en masse, globally.

This, so we may usher in a new, golden age of peace and enlightenment through the unstoppable and conscious ascension of Earth and its inhabitants.

We mourn George Floyd, as we mourn no other today. Though we have mourned, and mourned, and mourned too many unnecessary evils perpetrated upon the human race through time.

I cry, “NO MORE!”, from the core essence of my being… and as I close my eyes and enter into the darkness behind them in meditation, it is but the LIGHT, that awaits us all, that I seek to find.

You now ARE, a light for us all.

The HUMAN Experience: Embracing Your BODY WISDOM for Optimum Health

Our ever-evolving and ascending human body and consciousness, with its 12-stranded DNA, sympathetic, parasympathetic and autonomic nervous systems, and little-known ethereal aspects, is undoubtedly the greatest and most complex wonder of our world.

I believe we can all agree that optimum health and wellness is something we all strive for in varying degrees. Some fanatically, and some not at all, preferring to misuse their bodies in ways that have been made easily accessible to us in this day and age (no need to elaborate there).

What has not been made easily accessible or mainstream, however, are actual “cures” for what ails us, and not just “treatments”. Neither are natural remedies, naturopathic medicine or acupuncture (among other proven modalities, such as microcurrent and scalar technologies), all of which address the cause of an ailment and do not just treat symptoms.

If you are already seeking out these “alternative” kinds of treatments as a growing number of individuals are doing, you’re way ahead of the curve.

There is, however, a whole other level of looking at the root cause of disease and ailments in our bodies.

“Tuning In” for Optimal Wellness

The physical body is always sending us “messages” in the form of everything from aches and pains to full-out, life-threatening diseases, rather, “dis-EASES”.

We have been socially engineered and conditioned to listen to an authority outside of ourselves when it comes to listening to the “messages from our bodies” that we receive every millisecond of the day – if we are “tuned in” enough to hear/feel – then acknowledge them.

Especially now, in the age of COVID-19 and the exposition of what is actually in the vaccines we have been administering to ourselves and our children, it’s time to put on the proverbial critical thinking cap and ascertain for ourselves where the truth can be found, and what, in fact, that truth is.

I have my personal conclusions, based on thorough research.

This Blog, however, is not a political forum, so I will refrain from commenting further, though I encourage every single human being on the planet to do their OWN RESEARCH and come to their OWN CONCLUSIONS.

I also encourage every human being to cease blindly believing anyone or any organization implicitly when it comes to their own health and well-being. We all need to become thoroughly educated about the workings of our own bodies, which we have basically become estranged from, through little fault of our own.

I have recently been in search of information about certain functionality in the body. I cannot tell you how difficult it has been to find credible information on the internet.

There is, however, an entire ocean full of products, supplements and programs, and equally as many “squeeze pages” to get you to buy them, and more and more ads popping up on our feeds due to the AI on our phones that tracks our internet searches – and even our conversations. Ugh.

Is it possible that we have been misreading the messages our bodies ceaselessly send us, and therefore opening ourselves up to potential misdiagnoses and unnecessary suffering?

Reading Messages from our Bodies

I was introduced to Messages from the Body, by Michael J. Lincoln, PH.D., a few years ago when I undertook my transformative work with the late, great Jonathan C.R. Davies, creator of the Unity Bubble and enlightener of souls. His truly incredible work is now being carried on by his wife, Hazel Davies, with great success globally.

Jonathan used Messages from the Body whenever he began working with someone. It was uncanny how he could pinpoint ones ills and their genesis, establishing the root cause of the individual’s suffering and/or “dis-ease”.

When one actually becomes aware of the underlying psychological and/or circumstantial cause of one’s own dis-ease and the suffering it brings with it, one begins to realize that the body is indeed an even more marvellously complex vehicle than we knew!

2019 marks 50 years of renowned author, Michael J. Lincoln PH.D.’s massive work in the fields of Psychology, Self Help, and Self Awareness, Messages from the Body and it is more sought out and relevant today than ever. 

Messages from the Body trail-blazed the way to the ever popular genre of Self-Help works that so many people clamour for. Dr. Lincoln’s devotion to his study of Psychology, Emotional Healing, and Spiritual Development culminated in a dictionary-style primer, intended not only for practitioners but for laypersons as well.  

DESCRIPTION: Messages from the Body is a description of the interaction of physical, emotional, mental, symbolic and sacred processes as they precipitate outcomes in the form of diseases, disorders and disruptions.

There then follows a dictionary of the psychological, and sometimes sacred meanings of hundreds of disturbances, ranging from sneezes to cancer.

In addition, there is an extensive section on the meanings of a number of body structures and characteristic.

Here is a brief excerpt from this ground-breaking work:

“A specific sickness is the natural physical outcome of particular thought patterns and/or emotional disharmonies. They are coded messages from the body to the effect of what is happening and what needs to happen. In effect, then, illnesses and ailments teach us, expand us, and move us on – if we can understand them and heed them.

There is a kind of “escalation chain” effect involved in this matter of consciousness distortions showing up in the body’s malfunctioning. It starts out as psychological phenomena such as disturbing thoughts, wishes, fantasies, intentions, interpretations or repressions.

If these are ignored, avoided or resisted, it then moves to mild disruptions of our functioning such as fatigue, irritation reactions, or sleep pattern disruptions. If the situation continues to not be heeded, it then moves to acute physical disturbances like inflammations, wounds and minor accidents.

If we still don’t get the message and we persist in the pattern of consciousness/functioning that is causing the problem, we move on to chronic conditions, where we receive a lasting reminder of our situation.

If we still stubbornly refuse to acknowledge our problem and to adjust our consciousness, the soul and/or the Cosmos will precipitate traumatic events such as accidents, assaults, lightening strikes, and the like.

If all this fails, the situation deteriorates into irreversible physical changes or incurable processes. The individual then proceeds to descend into such outcomes as cancer or degenerative disorders like “Lou Gehrig’s disease” or AIDS.

If the individual continues in their patterns even then, this development leads to death, the ultimate acknowledgment that we are not a separate “I” in a strictly physical world. We are conscious beings in a sea of consciousness, where the requirement is to be “at one with the One.”

It should be noted that all illnesses and disorders are based on the same source: a deep sense of separation from God. The situation of being in a physical body in time-space lays the ground work for this experience, and it then is exaggerated/exacerbated by non-optimal life experiences.

In effect, we feel at the deep unconscious level that “it’s all our fault” and that we are “getting our just desserts,” with the result that we respond with mental/emotional reactions that result ultimately in bodily breakdowns.

The disorder then brings our attention to the particular ways in
which we feel separated and isolated from the Cosmos, and to the interpretations and interventions that arise from this.” – Dr. Michael J. Lincoln, PH.D.

Meditation and Messages from the Body

It goes without saying that in order to “tune in” to our bodies, we need to “tune out” the distractions and thinking loops that keep us tethered to our current state of awareness – rather non-awareness.

Meditation is, of course, the way to achieve this.

When you quiet the mind, you give yourself a chance to tune into your higher self, soul and inner awareness, beginning a process of self-discovery that is never-ending and ever-rewarding on more levels than I can describe.

There are Always GEMS in the Rubble: Exploring and Accepting Our Shadow Side

Right here, right now:

If YOUR DESIRED ENDGAME is global enlightenment leading to planetary ascension, and if you believe this can only be done through the complete acceptance of oneself and others – all the good, the bad and the ugly, no matter what that may be – then you may find this information inspiring and perhaps even worth sharing to that means.

Let’s explore.

More often than not, we experience a significant “breakdown” before we can experience a significant “breakthrough”.

The proverbial “rubble” left lying all around us after we “go through” a crisis, catharsis, traumatic event or even just a difficult situation, contains not just the aftermath of whatever negative emotion it may have inspired in you, including shock, rage or anger, disbelief and the accompanying grief or sadness that usually ensues.

It often contains precious gems of wisdom that lie in wait of being discovered, cherished and passed on to others.

Looking around at it, the “rubble”, I mean, what can we see?

If one were to play back the entire “breakdown” or “situation” in our minds, we could observe our own behaviours, thought processes and conclusions made, that would eventually lead to the “breakthrough” or “resolution” of said situation.

Taking an honest and in-depth look at oneself from a non-judgemental viewpoint (which is indeed difficult to do, yet not impossible) is to propel one’s self-development forward at mach speed.

It is the “internal” work that we do that ultimately grants the self access to full liberation, consciousness and enlightenment.

This, through the awareness and exploration of the multiple levels of consciousness existing within our being, be it on the emotional, psychological, instinctual or spiritual levels.

And it is in these multitudinous, simultaneously existing, timeless realms of our consciousness that the practice of meditation reveals, that these precious “gems” or “realizations” may be uncovered and revealed to the self.

The emotional and psychological realms are where we shall begin our exploration today. That includes predominantly the hidden aspects of our deep selves, referred to as “the shadow side” or of our personalities or “the shadow archetype”.

“The shadow archetype is the unconscious side of a personality that a person represses. This term was first coined by Carl Jung, the renowned psychologist who practiced in the early 20th century. The “Shadow Work”

Looking at our most primitive, negative human emotions and impulses, like rage, envy, greed, selfishness, desire, or the striving for power – all which may or may not surface, to varying degrees in our lives when we are under pressure or undergoing a “breakdown”, is doing what’s called the “Shadow Work”.

During this time of self-isolation, our “shadow side” is very likely to be rearing up it’s challenging aspects.

You may be finding it hard, these days, not to focus more time than usual on your own perceived shortcomings or behaviours that you are less than proud of, and frankly, would rather not acknowledge, or fixate more than usual on some degree of self-loathing.

This, I speak of from self exploration in these rapidly evolutionary – and revolutionary times.

Take heart: These feelings are a natural result of having more time for introspection and reflection, especially in these uncertain times, when we are not just observing our own shadow side, but that of the world’s as a collective.

By the collective’s shadow side, I am referring to the residual, negative feelings felt in humanity as a whole as a result of by the underlying desires and actions taken that drove all aspects of the creation and execution of malicious, global social engineering systems by corrupt leaders with anti-human agendas (for the past several thousands of years); their ceaseless fear-mongering and outright physical, emotional and mental torture and abuse, that still seeks to annihilate our fundamental sovereignty as human inhabitants of this, our planet Earth.

As an aside: The real tragedy here is, left to our own purely human devices, our collective shadow side would be a mere shadow of what it is today...

Humanity cannot be “inhumane”. That is an oxymoron. It is possible to behave in an inhumane fashion, but what are the unseen negative influences driving those behaviours? Something to be explored in future posts. I digress...

Our existing, deeply wounded collective shadow side, described above, is surely enough to conjure the rage and unleashing of the resulting wrath of a several millennia in a heartbeat, and justifiably so.

Or so it would appear.

Herein lies the danger:

Being unconscious of their own shadow side (and we ALL have one – no exceptions) there are those who project their shadow side onto a “scapegoat”: Others or groups of others.

They point fingers at them, condemning them and their actions, cementing an “us and them”, “right and wrong”, dualistic reality, that only serves to feed and fuel the fires of the perceived wrongdoers.

It is no secret that the entire world is on the precipice of facing challenges of “biblical” proportions. Those savvy, who are not still, as we all once were, swayed and manipulated by the mainstream media or the “controlled narrative”, know this to be true – and are preparing as best they can.

It will become critical at those future points to remember to do one thing which I will address shortly. Right now, let’s learn more about what our shadow side is exactly.

More About Our Shadow Side

“Everything we deny in ourselves—whatever we perceive as inferior, evil, or unacceptable—becomes part of the shadow. Everything incompatible with our chosen conscious attitude about ourselves resides in this dark side.

The personal shadow is the disowned self. It represents the parts of us we no longer claim to be our own, including inherent positive qualities. These unexamined or disowned parts of our personality hide within us.

Although we deny them in our attempt to cast them out, we can’t get rid of
them. We repress these qualities; they are part of our unconscious.

Think of the unconscious as everything we are not conscious of within us. We can’t eliminate the shadow. It stays with us as our dark brother or sister. Trouble arises when we fail to see our shadow. For then, to be sure, it is standing right behind us.” Scott Jeffrey, The Shadow: Getting to Know Your Darker Half

The shadow side is born in childhood through “good” behaviour being accepted and “bad” behaviour being rejected…

A child has a tantrum and is sent to their room or is shamed and punished for acting spontaneous and silly in a classroom.

This threatens the child’s basic needs, as they now fear their parents’ disapproval may jeopardize their safety – and their teachers’ and classmates’ disapproval threatens their need to belong.

They then learn how to “adapt” to preserve their own feeling of wellbeing and…

…the shadow side is born.

Alan Watts

“This is the most important thing he (Carl Jung) was able to point out, that to the degree you condemn others and find fault in others, you are, to that degree, unconscious of the same thing in yourself, or at least of the possibility of it.”
Alan Watts, 1915 – 1973

British philosopher, speaker and author, Alan Watts, known for interpreting and popularizing Buddhism, Taoism and Hinduism for a Western audience, wrote more than 25 books and articles on religion and philosophy, introducing the emerging hippie counterculture to The Way of Zen (1957), one of the first bestselling books on Buddhism. He also explored human consciousness and psychedelics in works such as The New Alchemy (1958) and The Joyous Cosmology (1962).

Watts’ legacy lives on through his many inspirational speeches, some of which have millions of views on YouTube.

He was a great admirer of the work of Swiss psychiatrist and psychoanalyst, Carl Jung, who founded analytical psychology and coined the term, “shadow side” or “shadow archetype”.

Jung said, in this timely quote, which could be mirroring our circumstances today…

“Just because there are people who are unconscious of their dark sides, and they project that darkness outward onto say, Jews, or communists, or whatever the enemy may be, and say “there is the darkness, it is not in me!..

Therefore because the darkness is not in me, I am justified in annihilating this enemy whether it be with atom bombs or gas chambers, or what have you.

But to the degree that a person becomes conscious that the evil is as much in himself as in the other, to this same degree, he is not likely to project it to onto some scapegoat and commit the most criminal acts of violence.

In order to admit and really accept and understand the evil within oneself, one had to do it without being an enemy to it...

In other words, you have to accept your own dark side.”

Conclusion: It is the projection of the shadow side onto the scapegoat that leads to violence; not the acceptance of it.

When describing Jung, Watts said,

“I had a long conversation with him (Jung) back in 1958 and I was enormously impressed with a man who is obviously very great, but at the same time, with whom everyone could be completely at ease.

There are so many great people; great in knowledge or great in what is called holiness.

Jung managed to to have wisdom, and I think also sanctity, in such a way that when other people came into its presence, they didn’t feel judged, they felt enhanced, encouraged and invited to share in a common life.

There was a sort of twinkle in Jung’s eye, that gave me the impression that he knew himself to be just as much a villain as everybody else.

There is a nice German word, “hintergedanken”, which means a thought in the very back of your mind.

Jung had a hintergedanken in the back of his mind that showed in the twinkle in his eye. It showed that he knew and recognized, what I sometimes call, ‘the element of irreducible rascality in himself’.

And he knew it so strongly, and so clearly, and in such a way so lovingly, that he would not condemn the things in others, and would therefore not be lead into those thoughts, feelings and acts of violence towards others, which are always characteristic of the people who project the devil in themselves upon the outside – upon somebody else – upon the scapegoat.”

Psychology 101:

If you did not possess any given quality (“good” or “bad”), at least to some degree or potentiality, within yourself, you would never be able to recognize it mirrored back to you in another.

Jung also said,

“Trying to heal this insanity, from which our culture, in particular, has suffered, of thinking that a human being can become hale, healthy and holy by being divided against himself; the inner conflict, paralleling the conception of a cosmic conflict between absolute good and absolute evil, which cannot be reduced to any prior or underlying unity.

In other words, our rage – and our very proper rage – against evil things that occur in this world must not overstep itself, for if we require as a justification for our rage a fundamental and metaphysical division between good and evil, we have an insane, and in a sense schizophrenic universe of which no sense whatsoever can be made. All conflicts, all opposition, has its resolution in an underlying unity.

You cannot understand the meaning of “to be” unless you understand the meaning of “not to be”. You cannot understand the meaning of good unless you understand the meaning of evil.”

The Core Issue

“The shadow can operate on its own without us knowing what’s happening. It’s as if our conscious self goes on autopilot while the unconscious assumes control.

  • We do things we wouldn’t voluntarily do and later regret.
  • We say things we wouldn’t usually say.
  • Our facial reactions express emotions we don’t consciously feel.
  • We psychically transmit negative energy to others close to us.

Remaining unconscious of the shadow hurts our relationships with our spouses, family, and friends. And it impacts our professional relationships as well as our self-leadership abilities.” – Scott Jeffrey, “The Shadow: Getting to Know Your Darker Half”

So, what’s the solution?

Learning to embrace and accept the shadow side in ourselves and in others or groups of others.

WHAT YOU RESIST, PERSISTS.

There is not one single thing in all creation or under all the heavens that love and acceptance can’t either fix or make better – and never, ever worse.

Here’s the Guided Meditation:

It is up to each and every one of us – especially now – to go into our hearts and meditate on those aspects of ourselves that we’re not that crazy about and RECOGNIZE THEM.

ACKNOWLEDGE THEM.

Tip your hat in their direction, and say inwardly,

“I see you. I know you. I accept you as part of who I am intrinsically. I will not project my shadow side on others, no matter how terrible their behaviour may be or have been.

I will process my pain, my rage, my anger towards them in a healthy fashion, and I will not project that rage, anger or pain at anyone else because I know that will only serve to fuel their flames and propagate more of the same.

I will endeavour to remain in the light and see that person or persons as being in the perfect place in their journey, regardless of their level of consciousness or how terrible their behaviour may have been.

I know that this individual, or individuals, may not express remorse, and may or may not accept punishment for their actions. If they do, or if they do not, it is part of their path and their path only, and is in perfect alignment with their free will.

I know, and affirm, that by accepting them as they are, including their shadow side as I accept the existence of my own, and by sending them unconditional love, I am smothering their desires for perpetrating lower frequency behaviours with my far higher, loving frequencies.

In this way, I am contributing to their betterment and inevitable evolution, and to the common good of all. So be it – and so shall it be.”

Bottom Line:

Once you uncover and explore your own beautiful darkness, recognize and accept it as a part of what make you human, you will then be able to choose to step fully into your radiant, light-body self, and co-create a brand new way of living from the heart-space – in peace, abundance, and complete bliss – that you never, ever, till then, believed to be possible...

Now those are gems are definitely worth searching through the rubble for.

WAKEY WAKEY: Only One Way Outta This! Please, Read On; It’s Always Darkest Before Dawn!

Despite this veritable, all-pervasive cesspool of fear, negativity, anger, sadness and downright despair that’s floating around us these days – that seems to be drowning us in it’s self-perpetuating, deep, depressive blackness – mostly due to an improper handling of the truth around current unfolding and highly volatile global events (I’ll say no more on that, as I do not wish to give any of those suspicious platforms, nor public figures of ill repute, ANY of my precious energy at this time)… I was pleasantly surprised and uplifted a couple of days ago.

How’s THAT for starters??

Why was I so pleasantly surprised? Well, it was something that was just very plainly and simply said, rather written, from a NEW PERSPECTIVE on those current events, and it just made me smile from my very core.

It also made me very happy to see more evidence that people, en masse, are “getting it”, and are not caving in to the rampant fear-mongering and manipulation of the global masses for nefarious, self-serving agendas of a twisted few, whose identities are soon to be revealed. Stay tuned.

For now, let’s stay in the light…

It was the opening paragraph of a monthly email newsletter, which a Torontonian friend of mine, Ken Campbell (Realtor par excellent), sent to his subscribers, of which I am lucky to be one.

It was entitled, “A little different perspective”, and it certainly was.

The Infinite Power of a New Perspective

In a blog I recently published on February 1st, I wrote about Meditation and The Infinite Power of a New Perspective.

That title and subject was born of an “AHA moment” I experienced after seeing a familiar photo of a place in Europe that I know well, taken from a different camera angle – or different perspective – that was so different, in fact, that I didn’t recognized the place.

Which, got me thinking that meditation is a lot like that, in essence. Both Guided and Non-Guided Meditations.

It’s all about cultivating a new and IMPROVED “inner perspective” on the outer world and what ails you, to help you sort yourself out: With a new, POSITIVE perspective, comes a most sought-after state, and that is “clarity”.

It was Ken’s POSITIVITY in his newsletter, albeit through pointing out what “isn’t” happening to most of us, and sadly, actually “is” happening to others on the planet, that one can glean a new, positive perspective on our particular current state of affairs, and take heart.

Without further ado, here’s that simple, paragraph that kicked off Ken’s otherwise wise Real Estate Market Info newsletter, published May 7, 2020.

A little different perspective;
A look on the bright side

No bombs are raining on our heads.
I am not a prisoner held in solitary confinement, as millions are.
I am not a refugee trying to escape with my life.
I am not standing in line waiting to fill a pot of water.
I have access to fresh food and I’m not starving.
I have hot running water.
My country has not been ruined by years of war.
I can reach my friends by phone and check in on them.
My friends check-in on me because they care about me.
Any whiplash I feel about this strange turn of events is itself a sign of privilege.
More than half of the world would gladly trade their everyday problems for the modest inconveniences I am experiencing.
I may have anxious dreams but I’m dreaming them on a proper bed and I’m not sleeping on the sidewalk.
By staying at home, I’m helping the planet rest.
As long as I have my mind I can create, imagine, dream and not be lonely.
This global crisis connects me to people around the world and reminds me of our common humanity. This is a good thing.
When something tragic happens to another country next time, I will respond to it not with superiority, but humility and recognition.
I will fight for positive changes and economically just policies in my own country.
I am surrounded by books.
I am surrounded by love.
The trees have already begun to bloom.”

Bravo, Ken, thank you, and namaste, my friend. I know you lit up many hearts and souls with that paragraph.

Let’s just breathe all that delicious gratitude in for a second…………..

And now, to quote one of my fave human beings, Jim Carrey, “Alrighty then!” Moving on! Lol…

To continue along this vein, here’s another quote I have referenced before. It’s a famous one:

“Problems cannot be solved with the same mind that created them”

This further supports my premise that a new perspective – even a new mind – is required to resolve a situation, and the same blind eyes that created said situation, need to be OPENED WIDE in order to resolve it.

It is for this reason that I am calling out to humanity at this critical juncture in our current timeline… and here’s the bottom line:

WAKEY WAKEY!

It is ONLY through GRATITUDE that we will raise our vibration enough to actually have a POSITIVE outcome in all of this.

If we were all to meditate on gratitude, I hope you already have an idea of what HUGE ripple effects that will create within the fabric of the collective consciousness. If you don’t, well, believe you me, it’s HUGE.

Here’s the key:

CHOOSING to meditate on moving from “fear” (which is a natural response to uncertainty)…

…into “love” (which is our natural condition, as we are “love”)…

…through GRATITUDE – or as I like to call it, “LOVITUDE”.

LOVE + GRATITUDE = LOVITUDE, which CREATES the ABSENCE of FEAR (which is ultimately an illusion that only FEELS real in the human experience).

Choosing to focus on “love” elevates YOU and the COLLECTIVE in quantum ways, leading to positive outcomes and timelines for each and every soul incarnate on Earth NOW.

It’s Always Darkest Before Dawn

Here’s a brief excerpt from a hypnosis session, conducted by brilliant American light worker, Alison Coe, just a few short weeks ago that speaks to this point.

It was the subject’s higher self that was communicating this information back to the subject, through the subject. (I know it’s a little much, but you’ll get used to it eventually if you’re not already! We’re all heading this way…!)

From the Subject’s Higher Self through Hypnotist, Alison Coe:

“Just like you can pull in the fear from the collective, you can pull in the love from the collective. Being separate, being in separate households, does not diminish the connection everyone has with one-another. It is just a holographic wall, so we can say it is just part of this reality that really doesn’t matter – because love does not have that barrier. Love will be sent into the collective from example, and will be pulled down by those who are wishing to tap into this love because they see her (your) example.”

We can each be that example and contribute to the exponential growth and ascension of this, our glorious little blue planet Earth, and all of its inhabitants, through focusing and meditating on GRATITUDE and LOVE.

And it’s as simple as that.

Thriving Beyond 4 Walls: Meditation and the Infinite Vastness of Your INNER World

Ask any meditator worth their cushion time which is larger; the inner world or the outer world, and you’ll get one answer, and that is…

“Why not find out for yourself?”

It is, after all, indescribably expansive when you do go inside, through the gateways of infinity to all that ever was, is and ever shall be, all wrapped up in one fleeting and precious moment that is the NOW.

Granted, this may seem a lofty goal for new meditators, who most certainly outnumber the seasoned meditators on Earth – FOR NOW.

Beyond the TELL-A-VISION, which is PROGRAMMING you to adhere to a (FAR LESS THAN NOBLE) AGENDA, countless pioneers in the global, conscious community, mostly hailing from the Far East, have been trying to get humanity to learn how to GO INSIDE and meditate.

This, so we can not only heal ourselves and each other, but also our families, societies and the world as a whole, while at the same time, elevating our own and our global consciousness.

None of that is UN-attainable.

Neither is the TRUTH unattainable; but we will all ultimately have to discern just what that is for ourselves, at the peril of being led down the garden path – or worse.

Meditation will help.

How? By making you more empathic, more sensitive to energies, to subtleties, fluctuations in energetic fields that directly affect you. It’s like the way you begin to feel antsy, agitated or drained after you’ve been in a crowd too long. All you want to do is get away from the hoards and put some serious distance between you and them.

Ultimately, it will be our discernment and that which we choose to believe to be true and hold valuable NOW and in the coming months, that will form our NEW beliefs and values, which in turn, will form the NEW EARTH we co-create.

This NEW EARTH will be based and wholly born of our COLLECTIVE core beliefs.

So, how do we get to this?

STEP ONE: It’s all about YOU. Decide that YOU WILL learn how to meditate. (NOW is good.)

FACT: Believe it or not, you affect FAR GREATER CHANGE when you work on and elevate yourself than via any other external act you can think of. This is confirmed by every Saint and sage that ever came to this beautiful little blue planet and shared their wisdom with us.

Given the mass awakening and countless mass meditations occurring on the planet, BLOWING the Schumann Resonance OUT OF THIS GALAXY, I am overjoyed to announce that it certainly looks like we’re finally paying attention to what they had to say – about a lot of stuff – and especially about meditation.

Learning how to meditate requires only one thing: the desire to do so…

Just as all things are born from a desire that they be on one level or another, so is the desire to throw open the doors of infinity and step into your own divine intelligence; heal, help others heal, so that before you know it, we’re all healed…

STEP TWO: BELIEVE that you WILL learn how to meditate.

No amount of techniques, advice or teaching aids will be successful in getting you across that threshold into the most mind-blowing experiences available to you as a human being is you, yourself, don’t BELIEVE you will be able to master meditation.

Here’s a hint; one I’ve used in teaching both music and meditation.

I let my students know that I already consider them masters of whatever they have decided to learn, as that already exists as a reality in their mind. The next steps are all about “peeling away the layers of the onion skin” that prevent that master from shining from within.

Once again, it’s all a matter of perspective: If you come at whatever you’re trying to achieve with a negative perspective, you can’t possibly expect a positive outcome.

STEP THREE: Surrender.

Yup. That image up there is what it’s like inside. Sort of. Well, not exactly, but kind of.

Everyone has their own “inner vision”. Mine often includes what feels like whizzing through time, past thousand and thousands of stars. I love it when that happens. 🙂

Here’s the kicker:

It’s time now to forget about the 4 walls that surround you. You’re greater than them and your present confinement. Mind over matter, and away you go!

Your journey inside awaits you!

Remember, becoming conscious doesn’t mean you move beyond your mind, it means you learn to love your mind and all the places it can – and will – take you once you do.

In terms of the actual meditating, I can go through the “close your eyes, let your body take a comfortable posture while grounding firmly in your sitting bones” and the like… But that’s not going to help here because, well, you’re not meditating right now, are you? Lol…

It does, however, help in my actual Guided Meditations. Every single one of them gives detailed instructions at the beginning of the meditation that will gently ease you into a state of deep meditation – if you allow yourself to go with it… and… just… breathe………..

Frankly, and sadly, I know many individuals who would quite rather stay asleep and continue living their lives and being told (overtly or subliminally) what to think, what to do, how to behave, what to eat, what will “heal” their bodies when they are sick and have their fates defined by the doctrines of a few ruling “elite” (cough, cough… elite my fanny!) with hugely negative, anti-human agendas.

We have just had a HUGE awakening with a few truths emerging that are paving the way for a whole wave – nay, rather tsunami – of truths that have already quickened their momentum and are headed straight for the collective consciousness.

So why would these individuals NOT want to know the truth?

It’s simple: They’re a) afraid, and b) experiencing varying levels of cognitive dissonance.

When confronted with challenging information, we all go through layers of disbelief – and discomfort – until we begin to fully cognate the light of whatever NEW truth we now are beginning to resonate with. And it will take some time.

That is the basis of human evolution.

If you lived your entire life in a building without windows, and were never shown there is a sky above you and that building and not only ceilings, imagine your total shock at such a new, vast dimensionality, and the huge paradigm shift you would undergo on your way to embracing this new understanding once shown the sky.

We are ALL at varying levels of cognitive dissonance; which in itself, isn’t necessarily a “bad” thing, as it also helps us screen out falsehoods and getting “taken down the path” so easily, as was the norm for our sleepy selves. NOT ANY MORE.

Right now, as we are all awakening to our newer, higher vibrational bodies, it is up to each and every one of us to DISCERN – via CRITICAL THINKING and FEELING – what resonates with us; notwithstanding having to take a good, long and hard look at some “paradigm shattering” facts.

Some will be highly disturbing, cutting at the core of your very essence. Some will be enlightening, giving you a new sense of hope that all will be well, as it always is in the end, because the light EVENTUALLY always wins.

And it’s always darkest before the dawn.

Let’s look at it a different way.

When one begins to awaken from the deep slumber of egoic entrapment, that egoic consciousness puts up a fight because it wants you to stay asleep so it can continue to be in control.

It will keep fighting you as you until you realize that it’s not through fighting it that you will win your release, as what you resist, persists.

It will be through embracing it – in all its facets – and putting it in its proper place from a higher level of awareness – that you will gain your freedom from its tyrrany.

Ultimately, there is no gain without some pain; no growth without some strain; no change without some adversity. That’s the human 3D condition, and I talked about that in my previous Blog Post: “SHOCKING” Secrets of Gurdgieff’s 4th Way: The Octave, and Spiritual Growth in Perilous Times, like NOW. You can read all about that there.

Bottom line: The entire world is waking up today en-masse, and I can honestly say that most of those being awoken are having some heavy-duty dark nights of the soul as they move through their fear and begin to embrace the BLISS OF FREEDOM…

…which is our BIRTHRIGHT.

And get there you will, I assure you.

The heightened energies currently on the planet are fully open for you to tap into now through meditation – through getting to know the SELF – through getting to know your own innate truth.

Decades ago, these levels of awareness would have required many years of meditation to permeate as the veils were much thicker and much denser then, making the elevated consciousness that is now readily available to us less attainable.

The UPSIDE of Cognitive Dissonance

As trying as it may be when going through the great awakening, once the breakthroughs have been made and new, higher levels of consciousness and awareness have been attained, the overall feeling is GRATITUDE.

GRATITUDE that we have ascended, evolved, grown, expanded – never to contract or “unlearn” what we have paid dearly for with our emotional, intellectual and physical bodies to learn.

“SHOCKING” Secrets of Gurdgieff’s 4th Way: The Octave, and Spiritual Growth in Perilous Times, like NOW.

A proper exploration of the enigmatic, charismatic, cryptic, controversial and revolutionary mystic, teacher of esoteric doctrine, healer, founder of “The Institute for the Harmonious Development of Man” at Fontainebleau in France, the bringer of “The 4th Way” to the West, Georges Ivanovich Gurdgieff (1866 – 1949), requires a vast, deep and courageous dive into the complexities of human consciousness as elucidated by Gurdgieff himself and by those who continued his work post-1949, and by those still doing so today.

I myself began my esoteric studies in my early 20’s with Gurdgieff’s works and those of his student’s, Maurice Nicoll (19 July 1884 – 30 August 1953), Scottish psychiatrist, author and noted Fourth Way Teacher.

Nicoll is best known for his Psychological Commentaries on the Teaching of Gurdjieff and Ouspensky (a Russian esotericist known for his expositions of Gurdjieff earlier work. I highly recommend these 6 Volumes if one wants to explore the more applicable psychological elements of Gurdgieff’s teachings and apply the basic 4th Way techniques to their lives.

I did many years ago, and am the richer for it, having embraced the first and most important instruction of all, which is, “observe thyself”.

One of the ways one does this is through meditation, which was a cornerstone of Gurdgieff’s teachings.

The curious thing was that these meditations (and other esoteric exercises) were encouraged to be performed in dangerous, often war-torn places; a practice which continues today in existing Gurdgieffian Schools around the world.

More about that and its meaning shortly. Let’s look further into the fundamentals of Gurdgieff’s teachings.

One fundamental was that a human being is “three minded”, having an emotional/feeling centre, a psychological/intellectual centre and a physical/instinctive centre.

And it is the particular combination in percentages of those three centres that constitute the makeup of a person’s character.

The Parable of the Horse, the Carriage and the Driver

“The Parable of the Horse, Carriage and Driver is a very ancient tale of unknown origin, brought to the West by Gurdjieff.

The equipage in its entirety presents us with a picture of Man. In it, the Horse represents the function of feelings, emotions. The Carriage stands for the body, and the Coachman is what we usually call our ‘conscious or ‘thought’.

The passengers of the carriage are represented by the multitude of characters in the painting, some quite strange and even quite unknown to each other. This is the image of our fragmented selves who can and do enter the carriage one after another and order it this way or that.

The arrival of the Master, or what might be called a unified Self, or ‘I’, can only be the result of many years’ of exacting inner work.” -peterszaszmemorial.com

“Observe Thyself”

It is through the process of self-observation and meditation that one hopes to become the unified “Eye of the I”, and ultimately aligned with one’s ultimate purpose and the multiverse.

Not to digress: The fascinating work of the late author, Sir David R. Hawkins, M.D., Ph. D., The Eye of the I: From Which Nothing is Hidden, describes advanced states of consciousness. It is much aligned with Gurdgieffian philosophy in the exploration of how the very nature and scientific processes of consciousness reveals the way to the spiritual Enlightenment itself.

Sir David R. Hawkins (1927 – 2012) was a nationally renowned psychiatrist, physician, researcher, spiritual teacher and lecturer. The uniqueness of his contribution to humanity comes from the advanced state of spiritual awareness known as ” Enlightenment,” “Self–Realization,” and “Unio Mystica.”

Rarely, if ever, has this spiritual state occurred in the life of an accomplished scientist and physician. Therefore, Dr. Hawkins was uniquely qualified to present a spiritual path that is scientifically compelling to modern society.”https://veritaspub.com

The Eye of the I is an immense work, but I highly recommend it and Dr. Hawkins’, Power vs Force and his other works, for a deep dive into the very nature of consciousness itself, brought to life and brilliantly explained by the enlightened and highly advanced being Dr. Hawkins was.

It was in much the same way, albeit much earlier, that Gurdgieff fused Eastern mysticism and meditation with practical exercises that developed a quicker and deeper awareness in an individual in actual life situations.

For Gurdgieff, spiritual fortitude was gained only partially through “meditating on a cushion”; the rest was putting that awareness to the test in difficult and sometimes life-threatening environments.

The Institute for the Harmonious Development of Man, formerly known as The Prieure, Fontainbleau, France.

The Work

The Institute for the Harmonious Development is the continuation of the Society that went under the name of the “Seekers after Truth”, founded and led by Gurdgieff in 1895.

“The Society itself was founded by a group of various specialists, including doctors, archaeologists, priests, painters, etc., whose aim was to study in close collaboration so-called supernatural phenomena, in which each of them was interested from a particular point of view.

During the existence of the Society, its members undertook many very difficult journeys, mostly in Persia, Afghanistan, Turkestan, Tibet, India, but also in other countries. They also undertook a good deal of work of various descriptions in connection with their object, which involved much labor and organization.

Throughout the period of travel and work many of the Society’s members lost their lives, while others from time to time abandoned the task, and only a small number returned to Russia in 1913, under the leadership of Mr. Gurdjieff.” https://gurdgieff.org

The “SHOCKING” Truth

The Fourth Way enneagram is a figure published in 1949 in ‘In Search of the Miraculous’ by P.D. Ouspensky, and an integral part of The 4th Way esoteric system associated with George Gurdgieff.

The term “enneagram” derives from two Greek words, ennea (nine) and gramma (something written or drawn), and was coined by Gurdjieff in the period before the 1940s. This is the Enneagram with point numbers and octave designations for an octave beginning at point 9. Points 3 and 6 show “shock points” at which a new Do may enter and develop alongside the existing octave.” – Wikipaedia

“Gurdjieff presented us with a system of knowledge informing us that all matter and energy vibrates. Modern science has corroborated that revelation.

Everything is a composition of pulsating energies vibrating across the whole spectrum of frequencies.

We ourselves are just such compositions made of finer and denser energies, and by actively listening to the microtones on inner octaves, we may experience a relationship with the finer levels of energies that are an integral part of our own being.

Sensing the presence of another level of energy, we find that the higher is accessible through the inner.”https://gurdgieff.org

It was through Gurdgieff’s teachings on the “enneagram”, an ancient symbol of unknown origins, now used mostly in exploration of personality types (by Oscar Ichazo and later Claudio Naranjo (1932 – 2019) who coined the term “Enneagram of Personality”, that the concept of receiving a “shock” was necessary for spiritual evolution.

Gurdgieff taught that unless there was a significant “shock” – a trigger, an activator – human nature was too complacent in itself to search out enlightenment, and instead requires a catalyst to push it to a new level of understanding.

And without this shock – taking us up to the next “octave” – we rise from Do Re Mi… to Ti – then back down to the original Do we started from, maintaining basically the same vibration we started the octave with.

This, as we know, through our own evolutionary process and history, is absolutely true of life and human nature, as it is none other than ADVERSITY that is the sure-fire catalyst to the growth of human consciousness.

HERE AND NOW

How can we relate this to the here and now, and find a positive in our precarious at best, current global state of affairs?

Well, I happen to know for a fact from a credible source that the REAL Gurdgieffian Societies that exist today (and they’re not easy to find or to join) still practice meeting and going and doing “the work” in dangerous parts of the world.

Why?

When in physical danger, the senses are heightened; “fight or flight” is likely on the verge of being activated 24/7; there is a greater awareness, keenness, and inner vision is magnified – and potential reactions to outer stimuli may be exaggerated – all invaluable food for critical self-observation and therefore potentially, growth.

I’m not advocating placing oneself in deliberate danger. And personally, I’m not giving into the fake-stream media’s despicable fear-mongering (as has been the case for decades now). Especially when there are far more credible sources, not funded by unfortunately flawed billionaires with negative agendas of their own – out there reporting the ACTUAL truth – for all ears that will listen and all eyes that will see – without the filters of thousands of years of social conditioning clouding their better judgement, and activating their crippling cognitive dissonance to their own detriment and the detriment of our global society.

It’s NOT the end of the world, friends.

It’s a time of GREAT CHANGE.

Change for the better, but not until those who have been furthering their personal agendas are stopped, and we can begin the healing and rebuilding process from all the reeling and backlash soon to come.

There has NEVER, in the known history of humanity, been a more CRITICAL TIME to meditate… To allow the “shocks” that have come – and that will continue to come for awhile – to act as a catalyst to your own personal quantum growth and that of our global society.

You can’t go OUTSIDE, so you might as well GO INSIDE! And believe me, INSIDE is WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY BIGGER INSIDE than OUTSIDE! And that’s just one of the golden nuggets you’ll discover when you DO go inside...

Summing it UP on GIG
