Now, as you see and contemplate this, take a moment to just breathe in deep… and breathe out long…

and there you go… You’re meditating, just like that. 🙂

And if you have 15 more minutes today to meditate, this 15 Minute Beginner’s Guide to Meditation Guided Meditation will help you ‘get into’ and ‘stay in’ meditation with ease, so you can benefit 100% from all the many and mighty benefits meditation offers – virtually immediately.

It will also help you to NOT GIVE UP on your first – or hundredth go at it – due to the dreaded “monkey mind” condition, which is just the incessant mind chatter, and which is 100% NORMAL.

Here’s a secret: Eventually you just don’t notice it any more and you have lo-o-o-o-o-o-o-ng periods of peace in your meditations. And let me tell you, what BLISS, and what a great goal to work towards! YOU CAN DO IT… Just start here if you’re new to meditation. 🙂

Here are some facts for you when it comes to understanding the nature of “thoughts” and the human condition:

The average cognitive mind produces between 60,000 and 70,000 thoughts per day. At 60,000 thoughts per day, if you take away 8 hours for sleep (during which time the mind is busy processing complex stimuli, then using that information to make decisions during the day), that comes out to 3,750 thoughts per hour, 62.5 thoughts per minute, and roughly 1 thought per second.

80% of those thoughts tend to be negative and 95% repetitive.

If we continue to repeat negative thoughts, we end up thinking way more negative thoughts than positive ones, and basically adopt a negative mindset. It’s no surprise the cognitive mind has come to be known as “monkey mind” in meditation circles, due to its incessant thought creation or “brain chatter”, and it’s exactly this brain chatter that prevents us from accessing our “higher mind” or higher intuitive functions, while keeping us perpetually looped into a negative mindset.

So how does one actually rise above the mind chatter if not a seasoned meditator? That’s easy… Like I already said, just start with this Guided Meditation! It will keep your mind chatter at bay as you focus on the POSITIVE thought process the Guided Meditation is taking you through.

If you should start noticing your own thoughts coming up, just allow them to float by… like clouds in the sky… and return to the sound of the Guided Meditation.

Eventually, with enough meditation experience, you’ll be able to access your higher mind with ease and begin to receive guidance directly from it (otherwise known as your “Higher Self” in several different ways, which only you will be able to distinguish and recognize as appropriate and helpful to you.

Here’s another secret: It will also help you reduce stress and anxiety almost instantly up to 40%, along with a myriad of other amazing benefits that both meditation in silence – and Guided Meditation both offer!

Here’s my 15 Minute Beginner’s Guide to Meditation that will get you meditating and benefitting from it as soon as you start in!

Enjoy!
